Hetzel Field, 10.4 acres.

Contains a recently renovated picnic and restroom facility (originally built in the 1930s) that serves the two existing softball fields as well as any scheduled community gatherings. Hetzel Field also contains a pool facility/restroom complex adjacent to the creek and is connected to the remaining park and bridge to George Page Park by an interior drive.

Renovation plans for the overall facility are being developed and when completed with funds from the NJDEP – Green Acres Program and the City of Trenton, the park will include two new ball fields. Both of which are designed to be used simultaneously, including improved parking and public access as well as plaza spaces, landscaping and lighting improvements.
